Hello all and welcome to my Let's Play of Duckman: Legend of the Fall. Duckman is an adventure game based off of the great TV show that nobody watched. The game came out in very limited distribution, which is sad as a lot of work was put into this gem. In fact, almost all the voice actors from the TV show are in the game playing their respective characters. Original Archived Version available at the Let's Play Archive .

Speed run of Super Mario Bros. done on April 10 2007. Available in five versions: low/normal quality DivX, and normal/high/low quality H.264 MPEG-4. Author's comments: I believe that this may be a perfect time by Speeddemosarchive 's timing of Super Mario Bros. 1. First off, I'd like to thank my brother for helping me figure out a faster way of beating the game. If it weren't for him, a run like this probably wouldn't have been seen for a long while. I also want to thank those who encouraged me...

There's so much to say about this game. It's absolutely fantastic. The storyline is good for an NES game, the characters are memorable and has one of the best endings out of any other game on the platform. The different sequences are all fine tuned to automatically launch this to the top of my favorites. The music is well done and tastefully used depending on the scenario you find yourself in. This game is far superior to the original Golgo 13 in my personal opinion. However, sharpen your map...

It is recorded in 800x600 with FRAPS, Virtualdub and XviD. Focus on looking good and fitting on a CD rather than small file size. I ain't no video expert.

Well, it's dino crisis for you. The game is all about secret agent going on Ibis islande to evacuate Dr. Kirk, but the island is full of dinosaurs, that's the basic plot. It's a pure survival horror game where you have to take care about your ammo and stuff. I'm playing on easy difficulties not because « normal » is too hard for me but just because i think this is more logical to begin with all your weapons. Finished with the best ending. I always followed Rick's decision so i don't know...

10-segment speed run of Metroid Prime completed on December 9, 2007 collecting all items in what is thought to be an order intended by the game's designers - a so-called "natural route run". Available in low, normal, high and insane quality. Author's commentary: This run is not a real speedrun, it is very sloppy and crappy, it is as sloppy done as my natural route low% 29% 1:53. I didn't care about it and i wasn't even really trying. I just wanted to make a video of my new route; i...

The idea that games are fundamentally interactive is deeply ingrained in both the industry and the academy. As a result, games are typically analyzed as responsive dynamic systems. However, while this way of thinking about games yields useful insights into many types of games, it breaks down when it is applied to low-interaction play spaces like Dear Esther and Gone Home. Some have even gone so far as to claim that such experiences are not games at all. This talk offers a new methodology for...

Valkyria Chronicles is a tactical RPG developed by Sega. It is set in Europa, a fictional version of our Europe, during the second of two large continent-wide wars. You play as Welkin Gunther who against his will finds himself in the militia, taking on all the lousy missions the normal army doesn't want. With him is "Squad 7", other militia-draftees with very varying histories and talents. I went for A-rank on all missions, which forced me to run ahead of the suggestions given by the...

Speed run of Alien vs. Predator for Jaguar as the alien, done on August 11 2004. Author's comments: The Alien's game felt the most like a real Speed Run. I reset probably fifty times trying to get an enemy spawn set with which I could survive to Sublevel 2 and quickly cocoon two Marines once at Sublevel 2. Rachel and I decided that this would be the quickest way to the Queen with the littlest costly backtracking, and I was determined not to compromise. I would be extremely interested to see a...

In the competitive world of video game development, less and less time is given for 2d pre-production. And with so many games entering the market every year, it is also harder and harder to come up with original contents. During the first half of this session, Feng will share his methods for idea generation. We'll explore a variety of quick and efficient design...

So, what do you suppose you get when you cross Resident Evil 4, Shenmue, and Twin Peaks? The answer took the form of a game released in February of 2010; a low budget survival horror game from a small Japanese studio. Originally known as Rainy Woods in 2007, and given the name Red Seeds Profile upon release in Japan, the version of the game released in America was called Deadly Premonition. Developed by Access Games, and headed up by game director Hidetaka Suehiro (better known as SWERY),...

Classic point and click adventure with a lot of humour and can be quite a long game.  Its more difficult than most as alot of the time the puzzles and their solutions don't make much sense, even when you do solve it usually just by trying every item on everything. Using unmodified versions of the PlayStation game "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4," this piece exploits bugs and glitches in the code to create dirty, jolting game loops. Video games are both the medium and the content of the work; no additional footage or editing is used. After being "prepared," the game plays itself perpetually.

Q:What is Fahrenheit? A: Short answer, the European title of the dramatic adventure game Indigo Prophecy. Long answer, it's the second game developed by Quantic Dream and directed by David Cage. It's the trainwreck that comes after body-hopping David Bowie (Omikron: The Nomad Soul) and before the Uncanny Valley (Heavy Rain). Q: What's Mayans and Hobos? A: For the first few chapters of the game, I'm doing two separate playthroughs to show of the interactivity of the environments and the...

"A USC Center for Scholarly Technology and Technology Enhanced Learning project uses the virtual world of Second Life to immerse students inside the story they are covering - what would happen if campus could not be accessed to due a natural disaster? Could continuity of teaching be guaranteed? What are the advantages of digital tools for teaching, what works, what doesn't. Once again Tony Hawk's Underground 2 features a long list of gaps to do, and once again thousands of people all over the world are wondering where they are and how to do them. That's why I decided to make videos to help those people on their quest. I don't recommend using these videos as a base and copying them 1:1, it's fun to search for the gaps yourself. You should use those videos to help you out if you cannot find a specific gap. The quality is not all too great, but you can always tell...

Before the days when controlling solely female characters in a video game was the norm (thanks to Lara Croft), comes a pseudo-sequel to the popular X-Men and X-Men 2 for the Genesis, titled X-Women. The game follows the same formula established by its predecessors, except the player controls an all-female team from the pages of the comic series. But, like many other titles that were announced for the Genesis during its twilight years (the company behind the console, Sega, dropped development...

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (which shall henceforth be called "ShatMemz") is a horror-themed adventure game "survival horror" video game and is a reimagining of the first game in the Silent Hill series. It was released on December 9th, 2009 for the Wii, PS2 and PSP. The advertising for the game emphasized the horror (amplified by the lack of combat) and the story which was (seemingly) very strongly influenced by "psychological factors" which the game takes into...

What’s this Journeyman Project business? Is this like that NBC show that got cancelled a couple years back? No, it’s not the TV show, go away. The Journeyman Project is a series of first-person adventure games released in the 1990s, developed by the now-defunct Presto Studios. The first game was one of the first CD-ROM adventure games ever released, coming out just a few months before the Myst franchise started up. In the games you play an agent in the Temporal Security Agency (TSA) who...

For more details, see http://tasvideos.org/610M.html Selected comments from the author: "This time it's the very old game Circus Charlie. I made it mostly because I played this game as a child and it is a great memory for me ;) Hmm, the gameplay is comparably to Kung Fu, Balloon Fight or Popeye. Very old and easy and it goes on forever. However it just loops after stage 5 so I stopped my fmv there. Hmm, I don't know if you have played this game but as I said it's very simple. Basically you...
